South Africa Pick 3
South Africa’s Pick 3 game began in December 2016 to give players an interesting new way to try and snap up National Lottery prizes. Players just have to select three numbers between 0 and 9, but there are several different options for how to play.
Pick 3 Draw Schedule
Pick 3 draws take place every day at 8pm local time, apart from Christmas Day. The numbers drawn can be seen on the South Africa Pick 3 Results page.
How to Play South Africa Pick 3
Pick 3 costs from as little as R3 to enter, and just requires players to select numbers from 0 to 9. There are six types of bet to choose from, as shown in the table:
|Bet Type||How to Play||How to Win|
|Straight||Players pick one number from each of the three fields (eg. 123)||Match them in exact order|
|Mix (3-Way)||Players pick one number from each field (in which two numbers are the same, eg.112)||Match them in any order|
|Mix (6-way)||Players pick one number from each field||Match them in any order|
|Front Pair||Players pick one number from field one and one number from field two (eg. 12x)||Match them in exact order|
|Split Pair||Players pick one number from field one and one number from field three (eg. 1x3)||Match them in exact order|
|Back Pair||Players pick one number from field two and one number from field three (eg. x23)||Match them in exact order|
Players can either select their own numbers or use the quick tip option. Participants must also decide on their bet amount, either R3, R5, R10 or R20, and Pick 3 Prizes are based on how much a player has wagered.
