EuroMillions and Mega Millions Both Rollover Following Tuesday Draws
It was a night of rollovers on Tuesday evening as the jackpots weren’t claimed in two of the world’s biggest lotteries, EuroMillions and Mega Millions. Let’s look at how these draws panned out on Tuesday 15th May and look ahead to the upcoming jackpots.
Jackpots Increase For Both Draws
The winning numbers in Tuesday night’s EuroMillions draw were 4, 16, 20, 31 and 39, plus Lucky stars 2 and 12. There were 1,249,694 winners overall, but no ticket holder from the nine participating countries was able to land the £22 million jackpot. There was success elsewhere though, including 10 Match 5 winners of over £242,000, including four from the UK. The two winning UK Millionaire Maker codes were HPGW35167 and JPGT34971, and there were thousands of other winners in country-specific draws including the Swiss Super Star and Luxembourg Joker.
Tuesday’s Mega Millions draw for $50 million saw the winning numbers 21, 34, 44, 49 and 61 drawn alongside the Mega Ball 21. Prizes were awarded to 326,291 players and, like EuroMillions, no one was able to claim the eight-figure jackpot. However, 16 Match 4 + 1 winners were celebrating after scooping $10,000 each. Three of these winners played with the x2 Megaplier option, increasing their winnings to $20,000 per player.
Italy's SuperEnalotto Rolled Over Too
The SuperEnalotto draw for €34 million also rolled over on Tuesday night, which saw the numbers 3, 52, 10, 65, 38 and 71 drawn alongside the Jolly Ball 1 and Superstar 49. The upcoming draw on Thursday 17th May is now worth €35.4 million, giving players of this Italian game another chance to become the lottery’s second jackpot winner of the year after a huge €130 million jackpot was snapped up in Sicily in April.
Upcoming Draws Excite Players
The EuroMillions draw on Friday 18th May is now a double rollover worth an estimated £32 million. The £39 million jackpot was only won on Tuesday 8th May by an Austrian ticket holder, the country’s 15th jackpot winner in the lottery’s history, so the jackpot is still building after that incredible win.
The Mega Millions jackpot was recently won too. An Ohio ticket holder took home $143 million on Friday 4th May after matching all five numbers and the Mega Ball to become the lottery’s third jackpot winner this year.
