$150 Million Powerball Jackpot Won in Oregon

A Powerball ticket holder in Oregon matched all six numbers to win $150 million in a dramatic draw on Wednesday night, becoming the state’s fifth jackpot winner.

Single Winning Ticket Of Nine-Figure Prize

The winning Powerball numbers on Wednesday 20th June were 4, 14, 23, 27 and 56, and Powerball 13. The Power Play was 2x. There were 634,261 winners on the night, including a ticket holder from Texas who doubled their winnings to $2 million after opting to play the Power Play.

The draw belonged to the jackpot-winning ticket, though, and it is not yet known where it was sold, or whether it belongs to a single player or a syndicate. The winner now has one year from the date of the draw to come forward and claim their prize.

Fifth Jackpot Winner in Oregon

The Beaver State now has five Powerball jackpot winners to their name, level with Idaho, North Carolina and New Mexico.

The state’s first ever jackpot winners were the Eugene-based Givens family, who won $38.4 million in October 1992. This was followed by Robin Powell seven years later, a Beaverton resident who won $33.8 million in July 1999. The Jacksonville-based West and Chaney families then scooped $340 million in October 2005, whilst 60-year-old Dan Gannon from Milwaukie won $182.7 million in March 2007.

$1 Million Powerball Prize About To Expire

A Powerball prize worth $1 million is about to expire if the owner of the winning ticket doesn’t come forward to claim their winnings within the next few days. The lucky ticket was bought on 24th June 2017 at 5th Variety Store in Philadelphia, matching all five numbers - 10, 22, 32, 36 and 58 - to land the seven-figure windfall.

A press release from the Pennsylvania Lottery said: “In Pennsylvania, draw game prizes expire one year from the drawing date. The ticket holder should sign the ticket and contact the nearest Lottery office. Winners can be identified only after prizes are claimed and tickets validated.”

They were one of two $1 million winners on the night, however, the ticket will expire on 23rd June. Make sure you get in touch with your family, friends and work colleagues before time runs out if you believe they are the mysterious owner of the $1 million prize.
