South Africa PowerBall Prizes
South Africa PowerBall jackpots begin at around R3 million, depending on ticket sales, and rise quickly every time the top prize is not won. There is no rollover or jackpot cap on South Africa PowerBall, meaning that it can rise to huge amounts.
If there are no Division 2 prize winners, then the amount in the Division 2 prize pool is shared among winners in Division 3. If there are no Division 3 winners either, the whole amount is put towards the jackpot for the next draw.
The biggest ever South Africa PowerBall jackpot came on Friday 3rd June 2011, when a player from the Free State province snapped up R102 million.
South Africa PowerBall has nine different prize divisions, with cash amounts given out for matching as few as one main ball and the PowerBall. The overall odds of winning a prize are 1 in 15.
