Australia Saturday Lotto

Saturday Lotto is part of a group of Australian lottery games together with Monday and Wednesday Lotto. Unlike Monday and Wednesday Lotto, the top prize can “jackpot” or roll over from draw to draw and typically offers a First Division prize of AU$5 million. There are usually a number of top-tier winners in every draw, so it’s rare to see the first prize increase in value for the next draw unless it’s been planned in advance.

Occasionally, Saturday Lotto will offer an increased First Division prize, usually between AU$18 million and AU$30 million. These Superdraws and Megadraws have the ability to change the lives of multiple players all in one go!

Saturday Lotto is also known as Gold Lotto, TattsLotto or X Lotto depending on the region, so don’t be confused if you see the game listed under another name - it’s still the same Saturday Lotto you know and love.

Australia Saturday Lotto Draw Schedule

Saturday Lotto draws are held on Saturday evenings each week at 20.30 AEST (21.30 AEDT). Ticket sales stop at 19.30 AEST on the night of the draw, so don’t forget to buy those tickets!

How to Play - and Win - Saturday Lotto

Players select six numbers from 1 to 45 to play Saturday Lotto. On the night, eight numbers are drawn. The first six are the main numbers while the last two are known as supplementary numbers. Matching one or both of these could boost you into a higher prize tier and net you even more money. If you want to scoop that lovely First Division prize, you’ll need to match all six numbers drawn. There are six prize divisions in total, with cash being distributed to lucky players who match as few as three numbers.

If you live abroad and want to take part in this fun and easy game, why not purchase your entries through a concierge service? All you need to do is place an order and a local agent will buy a ticket on your behalf.
